I empower clients to take charge of their own health from a foundational perspective.
As a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I use a deep foundational and bio-individual approach to functional, holistic nutrition to balance body chemistry and achieve optimal wellness. Certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association, I have trained extensively to evaluate the nutritional imbalances and deficiencies at both the body system and organ level that are unique to a specific client and create a tailored set of recommendations designed to support that client's wellness goals. I have also completed Mastering Blood Chemistry to enable me to interpret blood work for more clues into potential root causes of dysfunction in the body and how to support the body to address them.
A one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition and health doesn’t exist. No two people are alike, so no two client protocols will be exactly the same! In your sessions, we’ll work together to craft a plan that works for your body’s unique needs that includes not only dietary recommendations, but that also considers equally important factors like sleep, movement, stress management, and mindset.
The Initial Consultation includes an in-depth assessment of your health history, concerns, symptoms, and goals. We will review your Initial Interview, Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (300+ questions on your symptoms), Food and Lifestyle Journals, and develop customized recommendations and action steps to optimize your health. For clients with a follow-up appointment scheduled, the Initial Consultation also includes weekly check-ins and unlimited access to me via the client portal during business hours for extra support and to have any questions answered. Initial Consultations last up to 90 minutes.
Follow-up appointments allow us to measure progress and adjust your action steps. We'll review a new Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire and Food and Lifestyle Journal, discuss changes in your symptoms and progress towards your health goals, and adjust your protocol. Follow-Up Appointments last up to 1 hour.
Blood work can provide a lot of insight into the state of your health and specific nutritional and lifestyle areas you may need to address. A full Wellness Panel includes a Complete Blood Count (CBC) with Differential, a Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP), thyroid, iron, and lipid panels, urinalysis, and additional markers. Wellness Panel Reviews are delivered via the client portal.
